Justin Bieber Has Cydia On His iPhone!
The Justin fever has been going on for quite a while, and so is the jailbreak fever – and it seems like our Bieber has caught it as well! Jailbreaking has been debated for quite a while now whether is illegal or not. Apple seems to put it as so, but not really. Technically, if let’s say you’re using an iPad, the iPad is already yours so whatever you decide to do with it, you have the complete legal rights over it. Whether you want to throw it away, give it away, or jailbreak it, it’s all up to you. It’s your device.
What is jailbreaking anyway? Well, Apple is so keen into stopping jailbreaking because jailbreaking is letting your iOS free from the limitations that Apple has set. It’s like you’re meddling on their creation, they have created for you. Get it? While the jailbreaking act itself is not ilelgal, a jailbroken iPad could be used to perform illegal things, like, downloading paid apps for free.
Even if it could however, it’s not the main reason why a lot of people are jailbreaking their gadgets by the second. It is because, by only through jailbreaking your iPad or your other iDevices would you only be able to access Cydia – a paradise of unique apps not available through your regular app market.
Like our friend Justin here for example, who was caught using qTweeter, a Cydia app that allows you to send out messages to different social networking sites. If he didn’t jailbreak his iPhone, then he wouldn’t be able to download, install, and use this app. Now, we’re betting that there are other famous people who use jailbroken iDevices as well, like the other Justin, Justin Long.
See, jailbreaking is really not bad for you nor for any iDevice for that matter. In any case, it brings more pros than cons, so if you haven’t jailbroken your iPad yet, then you might want to give jailbreaking second thoughts.
